The Aviom AN-16/i has 16 x balanced line level inputs on 1/4inch TRS jack. These inputs are converted into a digital signal, for transmission over a single CAT5 cable. Each channel also has an analogue 'thru' socket, so the unit can be inserted into the existing analogue signal path. signal path.

A combination of channel inserts, direct outs, submixes, auxes, or groups can be used to feed the AN-16/i that then acts as the head-end for an A16 personal monitor mixing system.

This unit provides a solution when a Aviom digital monitoring system is required for use with an analogue mixer, or a digital mixer than cannot be fitted with an Aviom digital card.
