The Electrovoice ZXA1-SUB is a compact, portable active PA subwoofer. It is an 800W active design using a 12-inch EV woofer and has been designed to partner ZXA1 speakers for applications where increased bass extension and higher output levels are required. However, it is also suitable for use with many other speakers from Electrovoice and other manufacturers.

The rear panel features a stereo input panel, which means that a single sub can be used with 2 x mid/high cabinets if required. Alternatively, a 35mm top hat fitting is included so that when 2 x subs and 2 x ZXA1 speakers are used, the speakers can be pole mounted above the subs, avoiding the need for separate tripod stands.
