With a heritage going back over 40 years, most professional artists have used the SM58 at some point in their career. Even today and despite it's low price, many performers will use nothing else. This microphone is especially well suited to rock and blues styles.

The SM58's all metal dynamic design means that it is virtually indestructable. It's dynamic capsule does not require phantom power to work meaning it can be used with any sound system.

With a clean, clear tonal quality the SM58 helps vocals to cut through the mix. It's cardioid pickup pattern gives good feedback rejection and it's windshield gives effective pop-shielding.

The Shure SM58 remains a famous, industry standard product and rightly so.
