The Sennheiser SKP500-G4 plug-on transmitter can be used with virtually any XLR microphone. Phantom power is provided, which allows it to be used with condenser microphones including shotgun mics for wireless boom use.

The flexible nature of this plug-on transmitter means it can be used for a wide variety of different applications, for example with a handheld vocal microphone it can be used for interview use, it can even be used with a gooseneck microphone to provide a wireless feed from a lectern, podium or top-table.

Range GBW ( 606-678 MHz )

Range GBW is suitable for use on bandwidth between 606-614MHz ( Channel 38 ) in the UK, which is covered by a standard UK radio mic licence. This is the best solution for most users and offers reliable results for portable use. Upto 12 x systems can be operated together and the licence allows use across the UK, indoors & outdoors.

Frequency range GBW covers a total of 72MHz of bandwidth, enabling configuration of large multi-channel setups when 48-hour portable licences or fixed site licences are used for more specialist applications.
